"Looking for signs of spring along the woods", Ranzan Town, Hiki District, Saitama Pref.,

On the afternoon of Mar 22, 2015, I visited farmers market of Ranzan Town together with my wife

for its local vegetables and took a walk through the woods over the small height of satoyama

in front of the narrow valley behinds it.

The scenery of that valley in early spring seen from the lane around the foot of that height

over the deciduous woods was so attractive.
